When a big game is on the horizon, everybody is a prognosticator. But there's no better prognosticator than the people who may literally be suiting up in those same uniforms exactly one year from today.
RELATED: Wofford true freshman's performance easily the biggest surprise of the FCS Playoffs
Youngstown State's and Wofford's 2017 commitments can't sit still because they are so ready to get on campus and be a part of something like the FCS Quarterfinals. They know they're coming into these two programs at a good time–as the Penguins haven't been this far in 10 years, and the Terriers haven't in four years. Both programs are on the rise–and this weekend they'll be on the ESPN Network.
So HERO Sports posed the question … what do you recruits think of the upcoming game?
And fans … don't be surprised if the players you see commenting below end up lining up against each other in a playoff game sometime between 2017 and 2021. You heard it here first …

WOFFORD COMMITMENTS
SLAYTON WILD (TE/ATH from Chapel Hill, Tenn.)
"I love that the two teams are both defensive powerhouses. I especially love how physical Wofford is on not only defense but both sides of the ball. The score will be 24- 21 Wofford. I'm really looking forward to playing under Coach Ayers as well."
MOE ARMAN (OL from Dublin, Ohio)
"I'm really excited to see how well my Terriers can run the ball on the Penguins' defense. (Wofford true freshman QB) Joe Newman's a great football player, and I was glad to see him step up the way he did (in the second round)."
CAM RACKE (QB from Simon Kenton, Ky.)
"As a program Wofford has gone through a lot this year. Everyone has come together and battled through the tough times. That shows the attitude of Wofford football. I don't expect to see anything different tomorrow. We are hot right now and they will continue to battle."

OMARI JOHNSON (DB from Goose Creek, S.C.)
"Well I expect to see two of the top defenses left in the playoffs keep the game low scoring. Wofford comes in averaging under 100 total rush yds allowed. It will be interesting to see how YSU plans to limit Wofford but in the end the Terriers come out on top."
ELIJAH BROWN (LB from Morristown, Tenn.)
"I expect to see a lot of fight from us. We are a tough team and and we've shown that all season. I'm really excited about watching them tomorrow. We'll win 17-0. That defense is playing lights out right now."
KENT PHELPS (RB from Paintsville, Ky.)
"I just feel like they're going to come out strong again and go up in the cold and come out with a big win to move on to the semifinals."

YOUNGSTOWN STATE COMMITMENTS
ANTOINE COOK (DE from McKeesport, Pa.)
The YSU defense should definitely have a great game this Saturday! I love how the Defense performs, great players all over the team. Especially Derek Rivers & Avery! Me and Derek and close also.. definitely a cool dude. We talk a lot about eating right, speed, and what we got in common of how I can come in the same as him when he was a freshman. But in all honesty, I want to be better. I want to be the best on the field period
ERIC BENTLEY (DL from Akron, Ohio)
"I love the defense of this year's team. I love the the energy that they come out with every game and I would say I enjoy watching (defensive linemen) Avery Moss and Derek Rivers."
MILES JOINER (TE from Dayton, Ohio)
"I'm excited for this weekend. I love how YSU gets the tight end involved in the offense. I think we will get the win Saturday. I think with the two DE's (Rivers and Moss) we have now — who could potentially get drafted in 2nd or 3rd round — will handle it. It will be a tough environment to play in. YSU fans are dedicated and love the football in the town. Especially since its playoff season."

DAN BECKER (LB from Cincinnati, Ohio)
"The defense is outstanding. They are very stout up front and battle in the trenches every week. (The Penguins) haven't really seen a similar offense this year, as far as I know. I think they will adjust quickly and be able to stop this option offense. I love the intensity that the defense plays with. They constantly get a pass rush and always finish plays. They have a great coaching staff that expects to not only win but to dominate opponents. It's very similar to my high school team. They demanded perfect execution."
BRYCE GIBSON (DB from Johnstown, Pa.)
"I love the progam that Coach Pelini is building. I think this weekend game will be a tight one but YSU will pull through with the win. I love the fact that Coach (Richard) McNutt lets the corners be physical and play man and that will help stop the option because the DBs can help defend the run. One person I admire on the team is (YSU offensive lineman) Brock Eisenhuth because he made it out from where I'm from Johnstown Pa."
