Seattle got its annual two inches of snow last night, and before it had a chance to turn into slush the Washington crew team took advantage. They took to the field at Husky Stadium and wrote "BEAT BAMA" in the snow to support the UW football team.

The UW Crew is hoping some of their success will rub off on the football team. They're the most successful program at Washington, and one of the most successful programs at any school in any sport. They've won 19 national championships, including seven since 2000 and a run of five straight from 2011-15.
The UW football has a few clamed national titles in its history as well (1960 and 1991 according to Wikipedia), but has never been named AP National Champion. In 1991 they finished 12-0 with a Rose Bowl blowout of Michigan but the AP named Miami their National Champion.

Husky fans know who the real best team in the country was back in 1991, even the rest of the country has doubts. But now, UW is just two wins away from cementing their championship status in everyone's mind. Step One: BEAT BAMA.
