Now, we know why Swarthmore's nickname is Swat.
If you want to know, try taking the ball to the hoop against the Garnet, and wait for it to get swatted.
Swarthmore is getting just under six rejections per game, fifth best in the country and most in the Centennial Conference.
Freshman Nate Shafer is leading the team in blocks with 2.36 per game, while front court mate Robbie Walsh is sending back 2 shots per game – putting the pair at the top of the stats list in blocks in the Centennial Conference.
And as you can see from the video here, sometimes others, like Zac O'Dell, get in on the block party, too.
