Back in 2000, a 6-4, 225-pound QB wasn't selected until the 199th overall pick of the NFL Draft. Could anyone have anticipated that year that Tom Brady would go on to have arguably the greatest career behind center in league history? Such is the randomness and crapshoot-nature of drafting quarterbacks, which is why there's a gunslinger out of Ypsilanti with the potential to be one of this year's biggest draft steals.

Brogan Roback of Eastern Michigan pretty much did it all during his time in the MAC. He set passing records, won a slew of ballgames, and did something no other Eagles QB had done since the 1984 season.

5. Accuracy
The man can make throws all over the field from tight windows to deep routes to back-shoulder beauties.

4. NFL Height
At 6-3 (and 220 pounds), the signal caller is taller than current NFL QBs like Russell Wilson, Drew Brees, Tyrod Taylor, Aaron Rodgers, and Dak Prescott.

3. Records on Records
As a three-year starter with the Eagles, he set the school record for career touchdown passes (57), total offense (8,876), and ranks ahead or just behind EMU legend and former NFL QB Charlie Batch in nearly every critical quarterbacking stat.

2. He's a Winner
In 2016, Roback did what many thought would never happen again at Eastern Michigan: He led his school to a bowl game.
The QB helped lead his team to the 2016 Bahamas Bowl, which was only the second bowl appearance in school history with the other coming in the 1984 California Bowl against San Jose State.
In fact, had it not been for six brutal losses by a touchdown or less in 2017, including two in overtime, Roback and the Eagles would have made the postseason again.

1. NFL Teams are Already Taking Interest
Some squads like the Pittsburgh Steelers are already taking a close look at Roback.
Here's hoping he gets the chance he deserves.
