As a three-year starter with the Eagles, he set the school record for career touchdown passes (57), total offense (8,876), and ranks ahead or just behind EMU legend and former NFL QB Charlie Batch in nearly every critical quarterbacking stat.

In 2016, Roback did what many thought would never happen again at Eastern Michigan: He led his school to a bowl game.
The QB helped lead his team to the 2016 Bahamas Bowl, which was only the second bowl appearance in school history with the other coming in the 1984 California Bowl against San Jose State.
In fact, had it not been for six brutal losses by a touchdown or less in 2017, including two in overtime, Roback and the Eagles would have made the postseason again.
