The 10th Mountain Division — now based out of Fort Drum, N.Y. — is currently a light infantry division first organized in 1918 and officially created in 1943 to train soldiers to fight on mountain terrain, particularly in the Italian Alps. Prior to the 118th Army-Navy Game, Army released a video that briefly tells the story of the 10th Mountain Division.
