South Alabama enjoyed a winning season in Major Applewhite’s first year as the program’s head coach. The Jaguars went 7-6 with a 5-3 mark in Sun Belt play in 2024, concluding the year with a victory over Western Michigan in the Salute to Veterans Bowl.
