Bowling Green has played a top-notch Power Four opponent and nearly won already this season.
The Falcons were leading Penn State at halftime a couple weeks ago and almost pulled off an upset for the Group of Five. But the Nittany Lions ultimately bounced back in the second half and won 34-27.
But Bowling Green has another chance to earn a P4 victory. The Falcons are back on the road this week to face No. 25-ranked Texas A&M (2-1).

Bowling Green vs. Texas A&M Prediction
I predict Texas A&M will win but Bowling Green will cover the spread at +22.5. I also project the game will go Under 52.5 total points.
The Falcons already proved they can play a ranked opponent well. They also proved they can do so on the road. And they had a week to game plan for this.
Is Texas A&M the better team? I believe so. But I don’t think the Aggies are more than three touchdowns better.
I thought Bowling Green’s defense was pretty impressive early in that Penn State game. I also think Bowling Green quarterback Connor Bazelak, running back Terion Stewart, and tight end Harold Fannin Jr. make a formidable trio on offense.
Bowling Green may have a 1-2 start to the season. But I think BGSU fans should be happy with the direction of the team this early in the year.
