USF is arguably one of the best teams in the Group of Five and was one of the favorites to win the AAC. And the Bulls could be looking at a 2-2 start to the season.
In Week 2, USF was competitive early against Alabama but couldn’t keep up, falling 42-16. Then the Bulls bounced back with a 49-24 win over Southern Miss.
But now USF has to take on another top-10 team in the country in Miami. Though USF is playing at home, will the Bulls manage to keep this game close?

Miami vs. USF Prediction
I predict Miami will win but USF will cover the spread at +16.5. I also project the game will go Over 65.5 total points.
I love both offenses in this matchup. Miami quarterback Cam Ward is the Heisman Trophy frontrunner for a reason. He’s thrown for 1,035 yards, 11 touchdowns, and one interception on a 73% completion rate while rushing for another touchdown.
USF’s defense, though it does have some standout players, is going to have to greatly exceed expectations if the Bulls are going to have a chance.
But I also think USF’s offense will put up a few points in this one, especially at home. Byrum Brown is a great dual-threat quarterback for the Bulls, and the team is loaded with running backs and wide receivers who can make impactful plays at any moment.
I think this becomes a high-scoring bout. But if that does happen, I think Miami is better suited to find a way to win.
