I’m picking Central Michigan to win and cover the spread at +3. I also am predicting the game will go Over 58 total points.
After an emotional victory over rival Eastern Michigan last week, I think Western Michigan will experience a bit of a letdown in this matchup. However, WMU is in the top three in the MAC in points scored with 26.2 per game, and both teams are in the bottom three in the league in scoring defense, so I anticipate this will be a high-scoring contest.
However, I think CMU will badly want to earn its sixth win with the rest of its regular season schedule featuring games against Ohio and Toledo. So I think the Chippewas will triumph on the road this week.
