Army continues to prove why it’s one of the best teams in the AAC.
The Black Knights are 6-0 overall and 5-0 in conference play. They most recently defeated UAB 44-10. But their game this week might be their most challenging yet.
No. 23-ranked Army will take on East Carolina, which is 3-3 overall but has proven to be a tough matchup.
If Army wins this contest, though, the team will be one step closer to earning a spot in the conference championship.

East Carolina vs. Army Prediction
I predict Army will win but East Carolina will cover the spread at +16.5. I also project the game will go Under 51.5 total points.
Army has not only been extremely dominant, it’s been consistent. The Black Knights have scored at least 37 points in all but one of their games thus far, and they haven’t allowed anyone to score more than 14.
But their competition hasn’t been the best. They’ve defeated five conference foes, none of which have a better record than 2-4 overall, and an FCS team.
East Carolina is coming off a loss to Charlotte, but the Pirates beat UTSA before that and were in close games against Liberty and App State. This team is physical and might not let Army run the ball as effectively as it’s used to.
That’s why I think this ends up becoming a low-scoring clash. But in the end, I think quarterback Bryson Daily, one of the top rushers in the country, leads Army to another win in a 10-point victory.
