I’m picking FAU to win and cover the spread at -4.5. I’m also predicting the game will go Under 40.5 total points.
Charlotte is coming off a win at East Carolina, its first against an FBS team this season. But I believe FAU has more talent in this matchup.
Both teams are better on defense than they are on offense, so this could be a low-scoring battle. But I’m anticipating Owls quarterback Daniel Richardson will make the plays he needs to in order for FAU to win.
