After Jeff Tedford stepped down as Fresno State’s head coach and Tim Skipper was the team’s interim HC in 2024, the Bulldogs looked for a new coach and found one who was already working in California.
Matt Entz, a linebackers coach and assistant head coach for defense at USC, was hired as the next head coach at Fresno State going into the 2025 season. The Bulldogs hope to be among the best programs in the Mountain West for years to come with Entz leading the way.
