Despite early-season struggles, and even in the wake of firing its head coach, Boise State found a way to win the Mountain West Championship this year.
However, the Broncos will have to play without their top quarterback, Taylen Green, who entered the transfer portal and committed to Arkansas earlier this week. Still, Boise State has plenty of talent going into the LA Bowl against UCLA.

UCLA vs. Boise State Prediction
I’m picking Boise State to win and cover the spread at +4. I also am predicting the game will go Over 48.5 total points.
Boise State will have to find an answer at quarterback. But the Broncos’ offense should be fine, as they can lean on stellar running backs like Ashton Jeanty and George Holani.
Since head coach Andy Avalos was fired and defensive coordinator Spencer Danielson took over, the Broncos have allowed just 16.3 points per game in three contests, including just 20 points against a good UNLV team in the Mountain West Championship. UCLA also lost defensive coordinator D’Anton Lynn to USC, so I could see the Bruins’ defense taking a step back in this clash.
I’m anticipating Boise State will score at least 30 points en route to a victory.
