Oregon State played with a new head coach and conference schedule last season.
The Beavers were one of two teams left in the Pac-12, and as a result made a scheduling arrangement with the Mountain West for 2024. They were also be going into their first season with Trent Bray as their head coach. OSU ended up going 5-7 overall.
But going into Bray’s second year there, the Beavers hope to be better in 2025.

Oregon State Head Coach Trent Bray’s Background
Bray was a standout player for the Beavers before he became their head coach.
He earned Pac-12 all-conference honors twice and is top 10 in the program’s record books with 337 tackles.
He started his coaching career as a graduate assistant at Arizona State in 2009. He then coached ASU’s linebackers the following two years before returning to Oregon State. He was a GA again at OSU in 2012 before coaching the team’s linebackers from 2013-14.
He continued to coach linebackers while at Nebraska from 2015-17 and then focused on the same position group again at OSU from 2018-21.
He was OSU’s defensive coordinator and linebackers coach from 2021-23. During that time, he was nominated for the Broyles Award. This past season, the Beavers ranked in the top five in the Pac-12 with 22.9 points and 350.1 yards per game allowed.
