Oregon State may have a winning record, but the Beavers could be looking at back-to-back losses for the first time this season.
OSU was upset by Nevada on the road last week, 42-37. The Beavers are playing at home this week, but they’re up against a team that’s already defeated two Power Four programs in UNLV.
The Rebels are 5-1 overall and 2-0 in Mountain West play. Their only loss was against Syracuse in overtime. They bounced back and beat Utah State 50-34 since then.
Now they have a chance to start another winning streak against OSU.

UNLV vs. Oregon State Prediction
I predict UNLV is going to win and will cover the spread at -6.5. I also project the game will go Over 59.5 total points.
I think both of these teams have pretty solid offenses. OSU has scored 37 or more points in all but one of its wins. UNLV, meanwhile, is averaging 45.3 points per game.
I think UNLV’s defense will prove to be the difference in this matchup. The Rebels have limited Houston to seven points and Kansas to 20 points this season. And even Fresno State, which has plenty of talent on the offensive side of the ball, could only muster 14 points at home against UNLV.
I think Nevada showed the Rebels how Oregon State can be defeated. And considering how quarterback Hajj-Malik Williams has played since becoming the starter, I think UNLV will end up winning by a touchdown in a high-scoring battle.
