SDSU’s recent formula for success has been to keep games low scoring and make just enough plays to win by a close margin. I think the Aztecs, especially at home, will find a way to make this one difficult for the Cougars.
I do believe Washington State is the better team and will manage to earn a victory on the road. But WSU has only scored more than 25 points twice in its last five games and hasn’t done so on the road at all yet this year.
The Cougars may end up being 7-1 after this clash is over, but I think this matchup will prove how much progress SDSU has made this year.
