Of all the FCS scores last weekend, Portland State's 22-20 upset at No. 14 Montana's Homecoming was the most shocking. The Vikings have had struggles in recent years, but this is still the same program that went 9-3 with two FBS wins in 2015.
That was Bruce Barnum's first year as head coach. In the next two seasons, the team took its lumps as Barnum began to build his team around high school recruits.
