Two thousand two hundred and twenty players were ranked ahead of Josh Allen in the 2015 recruiting class. Only three players are ranked ahead of the Kentucky linebacker on Mel Kiper Jr.'s Big Board.
Allen was a two-star recruit out of Montclair (N.J.) High School who accepted one of four total FBS offers. He played sparingly as a true freshman in 2015 before exploding for 62 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss and seven sacks. Now, entering the Wildcats' bowl game, the 6-foot-5, 230-pounder's final college game, Allen has 215 career sacks, 37 tackles for loss and 28.5 sacks.
That production has put Allen among the top 2019 NFL Draft prospects. He is the No. 4 overall prospect for Kiper, who says Allen "has a chance to a top-10 pick."
Only nine Kentucky players have ever been selected in the top 10, and only four have been chosen in the top four:
