Fans don't like good teams. Their own fans do, but most fans don't want good teams to win. Is LSU an exception?
Through five years of the College Football Playoff, only 10 different teams have made the field or roughly half of all 20 participants from 2014-18. And the four teams with multiple appearances are in good position to reach the field again this year. There are, however, a couple of potential first-time participants, including LSU.
