We're starting to get a feel for things now. Week 3 of D1 women's volleyball is in the books, and while some teams continue to collect the wins, other took their losses as a learning experiences.
BYU continues to dominate, the Florida Gators worked hard at their comeback, and many more exciting results. There were some great matches that will take the spotlight in this week's D1 wrap. Check it out…

To say San Diego turned some heads this weekend is an understatement. BR-15 San Diego beat UCLA for the first time ever to win its own tournament, giving them a 5-2 record. Senior outside hitter Lisa Kramer led the team with 24 kills on 44 swings, while Lauren Schad had 12 kills, three digs and two blocks for USD. Setter Kristen Gengenbacher had 34 assists and 20 digs, while Hunter Jennings had 29 digs, tied for sixth most in USD single-match history.

Things are looking great in Texas! Texas Volleyball took home the wins at the Colorado State 2016 Rams Volleyball Classic. Ebony Nwanebu finished with 20 kills, Chloe Collins led the way with 50 assists, Cat McCoy with 19 digs, and Orie Agbaji 4 blocks.

BR-9 Stanford took over Cal Poly on Sunday at Maples Pavilion. Stanford (4-2) had a slow start to Cal Poly 2-1 in the match before taking over in the fourth set and surpassing the Mustangs (4-4) in the fifth. For the first time this season, Stanford hit over .300 in the match (.310) and tallied 18.0 team blocks and seven aces.

The Gators took over the Blackbird Invitational with a sweep of LIU Brooklyn to improve to 6-1 this season. Florida started three freshmen and played 13 athletes in a 3-0 (25-14, 25-14, 25-18) sweep of LIU Brooklyn to cap off the BR-8 Gators' final road tournament to open the season.

The BYU Cougars improve their record and stay undefeated with a 8-0 record after beating Idaho State, Boise State and Missouri. McKenna Miller led the way with 10 kills against Idaho State.
