The 2017 NFL Draft will see talented college football players finding new homes in the NFL come April. Among them are several stars off the roster of the Clemson Tigers.
Clemson has produced several high selections in recent drafts, including Shaq Lawson (Rd. 1, 2016 — Buffalo Bills), Vic Beasley (1, 2015 — Atlanta Falcons) and Sammy Watkins (1, 2014 — Buffalo Bills).

HEROSports.com's NFL Draft Analyst Todd Worly has ranked two Tigers in the Top 60. Here are his assessments of each:
Williams has the combination of size, explosiveness, suddenness, top end speed and hands to be a nightmare to game plan against for years to come, and he capped his college career with some legendary clutch catches in the National Championship Game. |
If Watson had been playing for a lower-tier Power 5 program with a lack of talent around him, maybe his 17 interceptions this season would be understandable. No one can take the national title away, but Watson had way too much talent around him to justify some of the decisions he made with the ball this season. He has an NFL arm, but I don’t think his accuracy and decision-making have been consistent enough to be ranked higher on this list. |
