Washington is involved in arguably the best matchup of a stellar week one of the college football season as it takes on SEC giants Auburn in a September 1 neutral site contest in Atlanta. While the showdown between these Power 5 schools won't impact the Pac-12 title race, it should give us an early season indication on just how good senior QB Jake Browning and company are once again.

The early Pac-12 Championship odds favor Washington who looked to be on their way to back-to-back playoff appearances until they were stunned by Arizona State last year in mid-October. The quest to return to the top starts with the Huskies experience signal caller who has thrown for 78 touchdowns and over 9,000 yards over the past three seasons.
Chasing UW are USC and Stanford who once again face off in September in what has become easily one of the most entertaining early season conference games from around the country.
Lower down the betting board, Arizona could be a formidable underdog selection with dark horse Heisman candidate Khalil Tate wrecking havoc with his legs again.
The longest Pac-12 title shot of them all? Oregon State, whose first step at rebounding from a disappointing 1-11 mark a year ago will take place at no other than Big Ten favorites Ohio State.
We wish the Beavers luck.
