The 2017 NFL Draft is upon us. The yearly extravaganza is taking place in Philadelphia from Thursday, April 27 to Saturday, April 29 this year.
Over the span of three days, a whole host of former college football stars are finding new homes where they will hopefully impress during the offseason and make a living playing on Sundays.

James Connor of Pittsburgh was drafted in the third round of the NFL draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers. Connor survived a battle with Hodgkin's lymphoma after being diagnosed with the disease in 2015. He returned for his senior year at Pitt and rushed for 1,092 yards and 16 touchdowns last season. The pick means Connor is staying home to play in the NFL.
