The 2017 NFL Draft is upon us. The yearly extravaganza is taking place in Philadelphia from Thursday, April 27 to Saturday, April 29 this year.
Over the span of three days, a whole host of former college football stars are finding new homes where they will hopefully impress during the offseason and make a living playing on Sundays.
Trey Hendrickson of Florida Atlantic was taken in the third round of the draft by the New Orleans Saints. Henrickson had offers to stay ar tight end as a college player, but he wanted to have the chance to rush the passer as a defensive end. The 6-foot-4, 266-pounder had 23 sacks in the last two seasons for the Owls.
