Lane Kiffin has never remained with a team for more than three full years. What are the odds his youngest recruiting target, 13-year-old Kaden Martin, would even play for him at Florida Atlantic if he committed to the Owls?
Martin, the seventh-grade son of USC offensive coordinator and former Tennessee quarterback Tee Martin, was offered a scholarship to Florida Atlantic, according to Bruce Feldman of Fox Sports, in a move that feels more like Kiffin planting roots with Martin than actually luring him to Boca Raton.
Martin coached under Kiffin with the Trojans in 2012 and part of 2013 before Kiffin was dismissed in the infamous tarmac incident in September 2013. Martin's eldest son Amari Rodgers is a four-star receiver from Knoxville, Tenn., who initially committed to the Trojans in 2015 before pulling it back and pledging to Clemson in February. And now his middle son, Kaden, is being lured by Kiffin.

According to Feldman, Martin is a quarterback at Adams Middle School in Redondo Beach, Calif., who's also a budding baseball prospect with a fastball in the 80s. Kiffin's offer is the first he has received.
