3. Brian Walker, Fort Valley State
Stats: 4 INT / 190 Return Yards / 2 TD
The D2 leader in interception return yards, Walker has the center field mentality every secondary needs, and the wheels to make every turnover hurt.
The senior's longest return was a 91-yard score in week one against Miles, the first score of the season for the Wildcats. Since then, Walker has added another pick-six, a couple forced fumbles, and a sack for good measure.
While Fort Valley has struggled this year, they have found an all-around piece to plug in their secondary, one they can boast is among the best in the nation.
