Today's 87th meeting between the two schools is taking place at Target Field, home of the Minnesota Twins, and will completely blow away the previous D3 high for attendance as apparently some 35,000 tickets have already been sold.

Talking about the excitement of the game, St. Thomas coach Gleen Caruso said, "If we could do this every single week for the rest of my career, sign me up right now. It has been an absolute blast, and it would never, ever get old. Are there extra media requests? Yes. Are there extra ticket requests? Sure. But at the end of the day if you can't get genuinely excited about this opportunity, then what are we doing coaching this sport?"
Here are the five previous records for a D3 contest, which today's game will eclipse by a mile.
