Darby was a sophomore cornerback on the 2013 Seminoles team that went 14-0 and captured the program's first national championship since 1999. Injuries limited him to eight games but he still had two interceptions and four passes defended on the season and played in the BCS Championship vs. Auburn. Jernigan, a junior defensive end, was a First-Team All-American who racked up 63 tackles, 11 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks, including nine tackles in the title games.

Jernigan was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft, and a year later, Darby was the Buffalo Bills' second round pick. They both joined the Eagles in 2017 and are now just the 12th pair of teammates since 2000 to win a national championship and Super Bowl together.

Here are the other 11 instances since 2000.
