Cheryl Miller (USC)
Enshrined into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1995, Cheryl Miller, of Riverside, was one of the best to ever compete on the floor for USC. From 1983-86, Miller scored a total of 3,018 points (23.6 per game) to go along with 1,510 rebounds (12.0 per game). She led the Women of Troy to two NCAA Championships (1983, 1984), was named the WBCA DI Player of the Year twice, picked up the Naismith Trophy three times and was a First Team All-American all four years that she played. Miller was also a member of the 1984 Olympic Team.
With a degree from USC in hand, Miller played in the United States Basketball League before suffering a career-ending knee injury. She went on to become a coach at USC, going 42-14 in two seasons, before coaching the Pheonix Mercury in the WNBA and then turning to a career in broadcasting.
