Last year seniors Ammon Olsen of Southern Utah, Mark Iannotti of Southern Illinois and Johnathan Williams of Grambling State — among others — put up big numbers. We also saw the FCS produce the second overall NFL draft pick — former North Dakota State Bison star Carson Wentz. Though he was injured and missed part of the regular season, NFL teams recognized his potential and he's thriving with the Philadelphia Eagles.
While no 2016 FCS quarterback is expected to be a first round draft pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, there's no shortage of talented signal-callers at the FCS level this year.
