Since joining the Big Ten in 2014, Rutgers has played Penn State six times, losing all six times and scoring a total of 32 points in the losses, a staggering average of barely five points per game. They’ll score more than five points against the Nittany Lions in Week 14.
Rutgers has lost 13 straight games vs. Penn State and 28 of 30 games overall dating back to their first-ever meeting in State College 102 years ago. And while the Scarlet Knights aren’t guaranteed to end their losing streak against the lowly Nittany Lions on Saturday in New Brunswick, they have a strong chance of winning. The line, however, doesn’t reflect that, which makes it one of the best college football bets in Week 14.
