Army won the Commander-in-Chief’s Trophy a season ago, and the Black Knights have a chance to keep it this season.
Army, ranked No. 21 in the Associated Press Top 25, is undefeated thus far at 7-0 overall and 6-0 in AAC play. The Black Knights are hoping to keep that winning streak going at home against Air Force, which is 1-6 this season and 0-4 in Mountain West play, but the Falcons are still a team to be taken seriously.

Air Force vs. Army Prediction
I predict Army will win but Air Force will cover the spread at +22.5 points. I also predict the game will go Under 41.5 total points.
Looking at how Air Force has fared this season, it’s easy to think this game will simply be a blowout. The Falcons aren’t the team they were last year, as they were ranked in the AP Top 25 at one point. They’ve also lost their last six games, and only one of those was a one-possession contest.
But I have to imagine Air Force will be more than ready for this matchup, especially after a bye. I think the Falcons will be well prepared to slow down Army’s offense, which is eighth in the country with 40.4 points per game.
I don’t think Air Force will be scoring much in this contest, as the Falcons ranked third-to-last in the FBS with 15.3 points per game scored. And I do anticipate quarterback Bryson Daily will lead the Black Knights to another victory.
But I think this game will end up being closer than some may anticipate.
